Survive & Thrive with Adam Kay and Tom Tugendhat MP - 21 March

Join us for the first Survive & Thrive event of the year with special guest award-winning comedian and author of the million-copy bestseller This is Going to Hurt, Adam Kay and MP Tom Tegendhat. During this highly anticipated Survive & Thrive event, speakers will discuss:

  • How to compromise whilst maintaining authority
  • How to manage your client’s expectations vs. the reality

Speakers:

Adam Kay - Adam is a British comedy writer, author, comedian and former doctor. His television writing credits include Crims, Mrs Brown’s Boys and Mitchell and Webb, and is best known as the author of the number one Sunday Times bestselling book This Is Going to Hurt, which contains his diaries from his former career as a doctor. It was also book of the year in the UK's 2018 National Book Awards and is being adapted as an eight-part comedy-drama for BBC Two. Kay has sold out for six years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and also had sell-out nationwide UK tours.

Tom Tugendhat MP  - Tom is a British Conservative Party politician and former Army officer. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tonbridge and Malling since May 2015 and since 12 July 2017, Tom has served as chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Tom is the son of the retired High Court Judge, Sir Michael Tugendhat.

Dame Philippa Whipple DBE – Philippa is a British judge, former barrister and former solicitor. Since October 2015, she has been a Justice of the High Court assigned to the Queen's Bench Division. Areas of practice include: indirect tax; clinical negligence; administrative and public law. She also experience in personal injury, disciplinary (GMC), employment and inquests.
