Education & Training

One of the core purposes of the Inn is the education and training of students and barristers. This includes the promotion of the ethos of the Bar and the maintenance of the highest professional standards in the public interest. It also includes the provision of scholarships.

If you are not yet a member of the Inn and would like to apply for admission, please see the joining the Inn pages.

Student Members

Students starting the Bar course can access the Student Introductory Information which gives a summary of oppurtunities and services provided by the Inn.

Volunteering with the Education Department (post Call members)

There are many ways that Called members of the Inn can get involved with the Education Department.

Outreach Including hosting undergrad student groups, giving talks, attend law fairs etc.

Scholarship Interviewing Interview panels for scholarships are made up of members of at least 7 years' practice (flexibility in certain circumstances).
