Office of the Solicitor, Department of Trade & Industry 1985; associate Linklaters & Paines 1986-1990; associate and later partner, Norton Rose 1990-2001; Howrey LLP, founder and managing partner (Brussels) and co-chair of worldwide antitrust practice 2001-2011; Shearman & Sterling partner 2011-2016; Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, managing partner (Brussels) 2016 to date. Solicitor-Advocate and Avocat au Barreau de Bruxelles. Resident in Brussels since 1993. Also a keen photographer.
