Miss Juliette Levy

Full Title: Miss Juliette Levy
Category: Ordinary Bencher
Bench Call Date: 9.7.2020
Call Date: 24.11.1992
Bio:

Juliette specialises in commercial, chancery and telecommunications law. She has been involved in a wide variety of commercial disputes, often of a multi-million pound and multi-jurisdictional nature and with a foreign law element.

After starting her career in a set now dissolved, followed by 11 years at Selborne Chambers, she set up Cerulean Chambers in 2016.

Juliette has been involved with Middle Temple Hall Committee since 2012 and was its vice-chair from 2014-15 and chair for four years from 2016. Her work with Hall Committee has been focussed on supporting junior members, promoting Hall Committee’s strength and offering in Inn affairs, and ensuring that members unlock the opportunities that participation in Inn life has to offer them.

Juliette lived and was educated in Israel from the age of ten to 13, when she returned to London and decided (after an early ambition to go on the stage) to attend UCL where, after two Arts degrees, she turned to Law.

She feels her career has been largely borne out of luck as much as experience; her first commercial case came from a source who thought she was a different Juliette Levy!
