Masters of the Bench

Formerly an officer in the WRAF, Audrey first commenced practice in Lincoln’s Inn before moving to the Fraud Investigation Group. In 1992, she moved to No 1 High Pavement in Nottingham but left in 1999 to commence private practice in Hong Kong. In 2013, she was appointed one of only two female criminal silks in the jurisdiction and in 2016 was appointed as the first female silk to the High Court Bench, where she still sits. Audrey was a founding member of the International Advocacy Training Council and has returned to the UK on a regular basis to teach on the South Eastern Circuit Advanced Advocacy Course at Keble College, Oxford, as well as teaching in Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa.
