Event Details

We are delighted to be hosting our first Amity Dinner on Circuit this spring with Inner Temple. This event will take the place of our usual joint dinner held between the Northern and North Eastern Circuits.

We hope that many Middle Templars on Circuit, and those from London, will join us to celebrate the collegiality between our two Inns and our members.

A lecture (QS) entitled 'Journeys to the Bar' will take place before the dinner. The panel will be made up of Paul Darling OBE KC (Master Treasurer), The Rt Hon Lady Justice Thirlwall DBE (Deputy Treasurer), Bernard Richmond KC (Deputy Treasurer Elect) and The Hon Mr Justice Michael Soole (Inner Temple Treasurer 2024). They will discuss different routes to the Bar, perspectives on the areas of law in which they practice and the different careers on offer at the Bar.

The lecture is open to all Members and guests (not just students).

Inner Temple members should book via the Inner Temple website.

Students and transferring lawyers need to attend the whole event including the lecture before dinner in order to be awarded a Qualifying Session. Other Members and Guests are of course most welcome to attend the lecture, or can attend the reception onwards.

Who can Attend

Members of Middle Temple and Inner Temple and their guests. Inner Temple members should book via Inner Temple's website.
