About Hill Prospect

Established in 1977, the company has grown with irrepressible strength and changed dramatically since then. From an initial trading area in Essex Hills wholesale began supplying top quality wines spirits and beers to local pubs clubs and restaurants.

After continued success in this area Hills Wholesale merged with Prospect Distributors in 2009. Also founded in 1977, prospect distributors (based out of east London) shared the same customer focus qualities with an enviable reputation for service. And so began Hills Propsect PLC, now a 90 million pound success story.

Thanks to the endless work of all the team, driven by owners Trevor bowers and Nick Callaghan, we continue to deliver a premium product portfolio of over 4,500 products and are proudly the largest supplier in London and the south east of England.

About the Tasters

Simon Jarvis – Simon has worked in wine for 25 years, in various roles, from running fine wine shops in the City, to selling wine to restaurants all over London and the Southeast. He graduated with the WSET diploma in 2012 and was awarded the Louis Jadot Burgundy Scholarship. He has worked with Hills Prospect for 3 years now supporting the sales teams on everything wine related as well as being our in house educator for both staff and clients to train up to WSET level 3

Jessica Gregory – I have been with HP for 2 years, after being a customer of theirs for many more. Managing a wine bar for 3 years prior I have always had a passion for the drinks trade with a focus on wine. Still early on my journey I have completed my WSET level 1 with Simon and I am excited to see where the wonderful world of wine will lead me. Hills Prospect has been the foundation of my career and will hopefully be a long partner in my story.
