Event Details

Unfortunately this event is not going ahead as we have not received enough bookings to make it viable to run at this time. All tickets will be refunded in full. We are looking to reorganise the sessions, probably split over two evenings, at some point in the new year.  These will likely be done online to open it up to more people.

The focus of the programme will be on updating key skills for everyday practice at the Bar with opportunities to learn from senior lawyers and judges, join in the discussion and share ideas with colleagues and other barristers. The topics of the day relate to the knowledge, skills and attributes set out in the BSB Professional Statement.

A full morning of learning from senior members of the Bar.

In addition to an Ethics Forum, participants will be able to choose between
•    Recent Developments in Criminal Law
•    Getting through the Part 6 Gateway: Service out of the Jurisdiction after Brexit
•    A Family Law Update
•    Communication Skills

Suitable for criminal, civil and family practitioners at all levels of Call. Refreshments will be provided.

3 CPD hours

Once it has been finalised, we will send the programme to attendees.
