We will be reviewing the rise in Asian discrimination due to the pandemic, focusing on western countries. Looking into:
With the following two speakers:
Jennifer Lee is a family law practitioner at Pump Court Chambers. She specialises in family finance, with a particular focus on high net worth cases involving foreign assets and jurisdictional issues. She also undertakes children work, including surrogacy/ modern families, and is co-head of the Court of Protection Team. She is a member of the FLBA, Resolution and LAWASIA, and sits on Resolution’s ED&I Committee. She is also on the Pupillage & Tenancy Committee in chambers, with a portfolio for pupillages. Jennifer speaks regularly at seminars, and is ranked as a leading junior in Chambers & Partners and in Legal 500.
Master Banton specialises in employment and discrimination law at 7 Bedford Row. As well as dealing with multi-strand discrimination matters, she also advises individuals and public bodies on high-level policy matters. She is a sought-after speaker who also regularly writes about her specialist areas of law.
