Master Alexander Macqueen and Tom Salinsky: Lights! Camera! Advocacy

This Survive & Thrive event is open to Middle Temple Members and their guests as well as members of other Inns of Court, though guests are restricted to members only. Attendance is free but booking is required.

Outline:

Enhance your online performance with Master Alexander Macqueen and Tom Salinsky from the Spontaneity Shop. This Survive & Thrive event will look at practical guidance from the stage and screen to take your online advocacy to the next level.

Actor Philip Glenister told the Guardian: “I look at my eldest and think, if you want to be an actor and earn some money, become a barrister. You can still wear a wig and get dressed up, but you earn. So let’s get down the Old Bailey for a taster!”

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule but the Bar and screen have long been the destinations of a similar kind of individual. And in this age of the new normal, there are many skills that apply to both, whether it is a web camera or a tv camera you find yourself in front of.

This remote event will take place online.  A link will be sent by email between 12-24 hours before the scheduled start time.
