Event Details:

The Richard Murtagh Memorial Moot is an exciting opportunity for student members of Middle Temple who have not yet obtained pupillage to participate in a specialist criminal law moot.

The competition combines both written and oral advocacy skills, giving participants the opportunity to develop their advocacy and strengthen pupillage applications.

The moot problem, competition rules (including deadlines) and registration form can be found on the Middle Temple mooting page

In order to obtain the Qualifying Session students must attend for the whole day, including the discussion of the legal issues and the reception. Students are not required to moot in order to obtain the QS i.e. observers will also secure the QS if they are present for the entire day.

Guests:

Each mooter is allowed to bring one guest. Guest tickets cannot be booked online - if you are mooting please contact the Treasury Office to book these.

No other guests permitted.
