This annual event, which is attended by Benchers, barristers and students, is organised by the Hall Committee who arrange for a distinguished person to speak after dinner.
We are delighted to announce that our 2024 speaker will be Middle Temple Bencher Master Sandie Okoro. A barrister and solicitor, Sandie was appointed Senior Vice-President and General Counsel for the World Bank Group in February 2017, joining from HSBC where she was General Counsel of Global Asset Management. Sandie has received numerous accolades and lifetime achievement awards for her career and volunteer efforts on diversity, women’s empowerment and leadership.
The usual hierarchy in Hall is replaced with a seating plan which ensures that Benchers sit amongst students and barristers.
