Middle Temple Library is proud to host Lord Dyson at the first Author’s Reading of the year. He will be reading from his new book – A Judge’s Journey. His memoir goes back to his Jewish and European roots and follows the life and career of ‘one of the leading lawyers of his generation’.  

Lord Dyson, a former judge and barrister, was Master of the Rolls and Head of Civil Justice from 2012 to 2016, and a Justice of the Supreme Court from 2010 to 2012. He was elected Treasurer of Middle Temple for 2017.
 

This reading is free for all Inns of Court Members.  Places are limited and must be booked (see below for details).

Refreshments will be provided after the reading.

Guests:

This event is only open to Members of the four Inns of Court.  Guests are not permitted.

Qualifying Session Details:

For Middle Temple students and transferring lawyers - this event counts as one Qualifying Session.  To be awarded the QS for this event you are required to arrive on time and attend all elements of this event (please see timings at the top of this page).  You must hand your ticket to the Front of House staff on arrival.  Failure to do so will mean that the QS will not be awarded. Booking Tickets:

Members of the Inn can buy tickets online by clicking ‘Add to Cart’.  Please note that you must log in to book (if you have not yet created a log-in please register first). 

Members of other Inns can buy tickets from the Treasury Office in person or by telephoning 020 7427 4800.

Unless the event sells out earlier, booking will close at 12 noon two working days before the event.

Please note: You cannot book a ticket online for another member of the Inn if that member needs the Qualifying Session assigned to their record. They must log in and book their own ticket, or alternatively contact the Treasury Office.
