Our speakers for the event include:

  • James Pickering KC: Deputy Judge of the High Court and Head of Chambers at Enterprise Chambers.
  • Mathias Cheung: Barrister at Atkin Chambers. Champion of Oxford Hong Kong Mooting Competition (2013), Member of the KCL team in Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, 2012 Best Advocate (Commission Representative) Award, European Law Moot Court Competition.
  • Zara McGlone: Barrister at 4 Stone Buildings. Finalist, HRLA National Judicial Review Competition, Middle Temple Team Leader, Willem C Vis international Commercial Arbitration Moot.

Plus hear some tips and tricks to becoming a successful mooter from a fellow bar student:

  • Ilsu Erdem Ari: BVS student at City, University of London. Winner of the 2022 LSE Atkin Chambers Moot. Represented University of Cambridge at the 2021 Philip C Jessup Moot Court Competition and the 2020 European Human Rights Moot Court Competition. Representing City Law School at the 2023 Oxford IP Moot Court Competition.
