Thanks to the generosity of John Scott SC, a member of the Inn, we are delighted to be able to offer this international scholarship, which covers;
The Inn, two decades into the twenty-first century, is a robust institution which looks to the future and respects its past. The conditions laid out by James I in the 1608 charter (confirmed by Her Majesty the Queen in 2008 with a second charter) – to provide education and accommodation for lawyers – remain at the core of the Inn’s mission, and it strives to serve and support its members at all points in their careers.
This scholarship is on hold in 2021 due to the covid-19 pandemic.
This scholarship has been established to enable the candidate to observe legal practice in Israel, within the context of a law firm and in the courts. The scholarship is aimed at applicants who would like to practise commercial law and have a particular interest in international commercial law. It is open to applicants before, during or after pupillage. They must be members of the Inn and have successfully completed the BPTC at the time of commencing the scholarship.
