Middle Temple Hall with visiting members of the public

Open House Festival - 2026

14 September 2026

A record nearly 2,500 people braved a damp early autumn Sunday to visit Middle Temple for our Open House on 13 September. Hall was packed with visitors admiring our double hammer-beamed roof, portraits and 460 heraldic panels, and there were queues to visit the Molyneux Globes in the library. But, the runaway hit of the day came courtesy of Master McCullough and Sally Yorke who oversaw the trying on of wigs and gowns, giving a taste of life as a barrister to young and old.

Huge thanks to the Benchers, members and students who so generously gave up their Sundays to help show off the Inn.
