In this lecture, Yevhen Synelnykov a Judge in the Civil Cassation Court of the Supreme Court of Ukraine will discuss how the current situation in Ukraine affects the administration of justice. This session will explore what martial law means, in particular how the justice system functions in a state of martial law. Ukrainian legislation has ensured that the administration of justice will remain the responsibility of the courts, this session will also discuss the difficulties facing the courts as they work to uphold the rule of law.
