Middle Temple Gardens date from the 13th Century and comprise of a number of courtyards and a main garden and include a vegetable growing area and glasshouse. The gardens are enjoyed by Members of the Inn and residents, for commercial events and at specified times they are open to the public.
The hours for this role: 8:00am to 4:30pm, 4 days per week.
We’d love to hear from you if you have experience working in a large garden. You will be involved in all tasks from planting and pruning to litter picking; seed sowing and propagation and lawn care. Good knowledge and interest of plant health and pest and diseases. This is a small team, and you will be working closely with Head Gardener. You will need to be confident working independently whilst able to supervise other assistants in the garden such as volunteers and liaise with outside contractors.
