We are delighted to announce that The Rt Hon. Sir Colin Birss has been appointed Master of the Rolls by His Majesty King Charles III.
Master Birss is currently Chancellor of the High Court, having previously served as a Judge of the Court of Appeal and Deputy Head of Civil Justice.
Master Birss was Called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1990. He took Silk in 2008 and became a Master of the Bench in 2011.
