Lawrence Power

Lawrence is the Head of Chambers at Whitestone Chambers and has been for over 15 years.  Lawrence has built a strong commercial and chancery practice.  He regularly advises on complex international disputes that take him all over the globe. 

Lawrence studied Law at the University of Nottingham where he went on to complete an LLM.  He was then called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Middle Temple in 1995 and to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2005. He is currently lead counsel for RAFA Shoreham regarding the Shoreham Air Disaster and is working on the leading case regarding secondary ticketing and the O2 arena.  Lawrence has also successfully obtained leave from the Supreme Court of the Falkland Islands to challenge the decision of the Director of Fishers of South Georgia as regards the issuing of Patagonian Toothfish licences worth $75 million each.
