Bio:

Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court (Second Senate), Professor Lübbe-Wolff studied Law at the Universities of Bielefeld and Freiburg and at Harvard Law School with post-graduate practical legal training in Freiburg.  From 1988-1992 she was Director of the Environment Department of the municipal administration of Bielefeld and since 1992 has been Professor of Public Law at the University of Bielefeld.  From 1996-2000 she served as Deputy Judge at the Constitutional Court of North Rhine-Westphalia.  She also was the Executive Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research at the University of Bielefeld.  In 2000, Professor Wolff received the Leibniz Award granted by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft.  She is a Chairperson of the German Council of Environmental Advisors.
