Bio:

His Honour Patrick Moloney KC studied law at St Catherine's College Oxford. He was called to the Bar in 1976 and specialised in libel law at One Brick Court, Temple. He became a QC in 1998 and a Bencher in 2006. He was Vice-Chair of the Professional Conduct Committee of the Bar of England and Wales. In 2007 he became a Circuit Judge and from 2009 to 2017 he was Designated Civil Judge East Anglia and a deputy High Court Judge. He retired as a judge in 2018. He is married to the novelist Sarah Harrison.
