Bio:

Mia became Barbados’ first female and eighth Prime Minister on 24 May 2018 after leading the Barbados Labour Party to a 30-0 victory at the polls. Mia, first elected in 1994, is now into her sixth term as an MP and her third decade in politics. Her current responsibilities include Finance, Economic Affairs and National Security.
