Bio:

Tony is admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland, Australia, England, and Ireland.  In London he practised at Rowe & Maw and Clyde & Co, where he advised London market insurers on political and war risks, and on fine art and specie matters.  He took partnership at Clydes in 2011 and developed a general commercial disputes practice.

Tony was made a Recorder of the Crown Court in 2009, and appointed to the Circuit bench in 2019.  In 2023, he became Senior Circuit Judge and Resident Judge at Southwark and Recorder of Westminster.  He sits as a Judge in the Chancery Division of the High Court, and is a Senior Judge of the Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, Cyprus. 

He is Deputy Chairman of HM Government’s Spoliation Advisory Panel, a Trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts, and Honorary Life Chairman of the Anglo-Australasian Lawyers Society.
