Filming

The Middle Temple’s spectacular historic buildings, cobbled streets and atmospheric gas lighting mean it lends itself as an ideal filming location whether it is for the latest blockbuster, television advert or product launch.  Recent film productions at Middle Temple have included The Da Vinci Code, Sherlock Holmes, Bridget Jones II and Pirates of the Caribbean as well as other period drama series and advertisements.

Middle Temple boasts one of the finest Elizabethan Halls in the country. Spanned by a magnificent double-hammer beam roof built in the 1570s it remains virtually unaltered to the present day. The surrounding rooms and corridors are flanked by exquisite carved panelling, intricate ceilings and beautiful paintings.

The award-winning gardens, which overlook the River Thames, are also available for filming, alongside Fountain Court with its ancient mulberry trees and adjacent Elizabethan buildings.
