Legal Information Institute, Cornell University The text of federal and state legislation, court opinions and law directories - a good source for searching codes and updating GPO site.

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) There is a charge for this service, which offers access to case and docket information from federal appellate, district and bankruptcy courts.

Supreme Court Contains judgments since 1991, including the latest slip opinions.

Congress.gov The official website for U.S. federal legislative information. It is maintained by the Library of Congress, and covers the activities of Congress, text of bills with status, and public laws from 1973 to date.

US Government Printing Office The GPO aims to provide public access to official government information products, for example history of bills with full text of each version and signed public and private laws, Congressional debates, US Code un-annotated back to 1995.

US Law Library of Congress Has information on the legal system, including sources, legal profession and Federal Court system.
