While our catalogue is not available for public consultation, listed below are the majority of the series held by the Middle Temple Archive, with dates of coverage, divided into administrative sections. This is intended to enable researchers to assess the archive's resources and narrow their enquiries.
Purpose of the fund
The Inn has a limited fund available to support those students who incur substantial expenses in attending pupillage interviews and are finding this financially challenging.
Funding will be limited to cases of particular hardship or exceptional circumstances. Each applicant would be expected to underwrite the first £200 of their expenses before seeking support from the fund.

The Lady Templeman-Master Singhvi Memorial Travel Fellowship - India
This scholarship was originally set up, and funded, by Lord Templeman, a Bencher of the Inn, and Master Singhvi, the Indian High Commissioner in the UK from 1991 to 1997 and an Honorary Bencher. Master Singhvi’s son, Dr Abishek Singhvi, most generously enabled us to continue the scheme for ten years after his father’s death. The scheme was closed in 2017.
We encourage Members, where possible, to volunteer some of their time and expertise to help others, whether by providing their services for Pro Bono work or getting involved and contributing towards the life of the Inn. Examples may include becoming an Advocacy Trainer, joining the Inn’s Mentoring Scheme, acting as a Scholarship interviewer, or simply attending Inn events on Circuit or in Hall.
A number of Entrance Exhibitions are awarded annually, together with the Major Scholarships; each Exhibition covers the scholar's Admission and Call Fees.
Exhibitions for students from Oxford and Cambridge Universities are named Harmsworth Entrance Exhibitions; exhibitions for students from other universities are named Blackstone Entrance Exhibitions.
One Lord Justice Sachs Entrance Exhibition worth £500 may be awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate of Christ Church, Oxford.
