On Monday 8 February 2021, Master Robin Knowles provided an insight into his own experience of Pro-Bono work, and the benefits it has for society, in a talk entitled Pro Bono - Part of Being a Barrister as part of the 2021 series of Treasurer's Lectures. The Lecture was introduced by Master Treasurer, Andrew Hochhauser QC, and the Q&A was moderated by Rebecca Wilkie, CEO of Advocate.

The Judicial Diversity Committee is holding an online seminar via Microsoft Teams for lawyers and judges interested in applying for Circuit Judge appointment on Wednesday 21 April, 16:30 - 18:00. The seminar aims to help judges be better prepared to make an application and to receive up to date guidance and advice on the JAC’s selection process. You will hear from serving Circuit Judges and a representative from the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC).
Who should attend?
All lawyers and judicial office holders interested in applying for a CJ role can attend. Applications are particularly welcome from under-represented groups. To reserve a place, please email: JudicialHRDiversityEvents@judiciary.uk by Friday 26 March.
