Document Delivery Service

The Library is now closed until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time we are offering a free document delivery service from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, for any Inn of Court member. Requests must be made using our copyright declaration form below.  This offer may be rescinded at any time. Priority will be given to requests made for judicial purposes. We are unable to supply documents for commercial purposes, such as research for advice and opinions.

The Document Delivery service is available to members of the Inns of Court who require documents remotely. For the foreseeable future, we can only provide a limited service. There is no charge for this service to members of the Inns of Court, but this offer may be rescinded at any time.

How to request items

All requests must be made using a Copyright Declaration form. The simplest and easiest way to request copies or scans is by completing the online form.

As an alternative, you can download and complete one of the PDF forms below. The Electronic Form can be emailed to us with an electronic signature attached. Contact details are provided on the forms. We cannot accept forms that have not been signed electronically. Direct any questions regarding this service to: documentdelivery@middletemple.org.uk

During regular opening hours, staff will do their best to provide a turn-around time of two hours, depending on the size of the request and the order in which it was received.

Please note that, because of their age and condition, some publications cannot be copied.
