This event will consist of a mock trial, followed by discussion.  You will see practitioners run parts of a trial or hearing and then discuss with them their case theory, tactics and advocacy.

A version of this Mock Trial was given last year, so for those that attended this talk last year please refrain from booking this QS. If you book this event having already attended one of the previous QS your booking will be cancelled by the Education Department.

Learning Outcomes:

After this session, students should be able to:

  • Acquire and demonstrate legal knowledge of immigration law.
  • Understand the procedures of an immigration appeal.
  • Understand and apply the basic legal principles applicable to the appeal observed.
