A guided discussion on commercial law and contracts led by Middle Temple practitioners.

Commercial cases are often arguments about what a written contract means. Developing and assessing those arguments is a core skill for commercial lawyers. In this round-table, experienced commercial practitioners will take you through the core principles ... with practical tips for real life. Do the courts care what the parties really intended? Why don't they want to know how the contract was negotiated? How do you start when you are faced with pages of boilerplate? How can you develop and articulate persuasive arguments about what a contract means?

This Round Table will be led by:

  • Master David Casement QC
  • Tom Corby
  • Master Paul Stanley QC
  • Master Zoe O'Sullivan QC
  • Andrew Grantham QC
  • Nikki Singla QC

Details of the preparation required in advance will be circulated ahead of the QS.
