Event Details

Barristers at the start of their careers often have many questions about preparation for pupillage, career development and wellbeing. Is there support for barristers starting off and how do I access it? Will my career be hindered or helped by being on circuit? How do I develop my practice to achieve my goals? This session is intended to help those interested in working on circuit and will cover circuit history, structure, sources of support and how to make the most of the opportunities available to them.

This session will focus on laying the foundations to develop practice on a regional, national and international level from the base on circuit. Also, the session will discuss setting realistic objectives for the different stages of one’s career eg becoming a QC or a Judge.

For those who attended the talk last term on 'Life on Circuit' please refrain from booking this QS. If you book this event having already attended the previous QS your booking will be cancelled by the Education Department.
