Smart casual for the majority of the weekend.

Business attires for dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Event Details: 

The weekend focuses on an intense programme of advocacy workshops with students working in groups of six, each taught by an experienced trainer.  There is also ample opportunity to meet practitioners and judges in a social environment.

The price includes the cost of the whole weekend (accommodation and food).  Transport is not included.  Wine is provided with dinner and there is a bar in the hotel.

Places on the advocacy weekends are limited and for this reason they are allocated by ballot, with priority given to current BPTC students who are studying at a provider outside of London.  

Applications for the 2019/20 Advocacy weekends will open on 24 September 2019.  The deadline to apply for a place is 16:00 on Friday 25 October 2019.  Click here more more details.

Qualifying Session Details:

For Middle Temple students - this weekend counts as three Qualifying Sessions.  To be awarded the QS points you are required to arrive on time and attend all elements of the weekend (attendees will be emailed a full timetable).  

Dietary Requirements:

If you have any dietary requirements please ensure that you provide this information to the Inn in advance of the weekend so that Principal Hotel can be informed.

Cancellations:

If you find that you are unable to attend, for any reason, you must inform the Inn as soon as possible.  To receive a full refund, cancellations must be made at least 5 clear working days before the event (i.e. the Thursday of the week before).  A refund may be made after this time, dependant on whether the place can be reallocated to someone else – the more notice given, the more likely this will be.
