\n Only the following are \;e ligible to book an Advocacy Workshop:

\n * current Bar Course student members
\n * student members \;who’ve completed the Bar c ourse and are yet to be Called
\n * transferr ing lawyers who have joined the Inn but not yet be en Called \;(providing you do not have much ad vocacy experience)
\n
\n Students who h ave not yet started the Bar Course are not eligibl e to book. \;
\n
\n Furthermore\, p lease refrain from booking this workshop if you ha ve already attended (or have a place on) one of th e Inn's Advocacy Weekends at Cumberland Lodge or Y ork.

This evening's training will be focused on developing advocacy skills. \;A high level of preparation and participation is expected from each student.
\n \n The tuition is provided principally by busy practitioners\, judges\, and academics\, all volu nteers giving up their evening\, and also by senio r members of the Inn who are no longer practicing but who have had years of experience at the Bar.\n \n

Please ensure that you prepare in good time. Details of the preparation required in advance of this session is available below. Please refer to your email assigning you to a \;defe ndant before preparing\, this will be sent a week prior to the session.
