 omen (ICAW) for this panel discussion on financial
  wellbeing followed by a drinks reception.</p>\n \
 n <p>A career at the Bar can be rich and rewarding
 \, both in financial and non-financial terms\, but
  it comes with unique challenges that are under-di
 scussed.</p>\n \n <p>Women especially will earn le
 ss day-to-day than their male counterparts due to 
 the gender pay gap\, an unfair allocation of work\
 , overrepresentation in publicly funded work and w
 ill encounter lower lifetime earnings due to the e
 ver-present gender pay gap. These issues and more 
 benefit from open discussion and sharing of experi
 ence.</p>\n \n <p>This panel talk will be chaired 
 by Leigh-Ann Mulcahy KC\, the panel brings togethe
 r the Financial Times’ Consumer Editor\, Claer Bar
 rett\, and legal professionals from across the jud
 iciary and the Bar\, representing the diversity of
  practice at the Bar\, the various stages of caree
 r progression and the financial decisions that com
 e along with it.</p>\n \n <p>The panel discussion 
 will include:</p>\n \n <ul>\n 	<li>Consideration o
 f macro financial issues for women throughout thei
 r working life including: financial decisions arou
 nd marriage/civil partnership\, divorce\, childbir

 anagement across different practice areas (experie
