 \n <p>Master Afua Hirsch</p>\n \n <p>Afua Hirsch w
 as called to Bar in 2006 and is a Bencher of Middl
 e Temple. Master Hirsch won the Royal Society of L
 iterature’s Jerwood Prize for non-fiction in 2016 
 for her first book – Brit(ish): On Race\, Identity
  and Belonging. Afua’s 2023 book\, Decolonising My
  Body\, was named the Political Book of the Year b
 y Waterstones. In 2019 Master Hirsch was appointed
  Wallis Annenberg Chair in Journalism and Communic
 ation at the University of Southern California. Af
 ua has written extensively for newspapers and othe
 r publications and appeared regularly on Televisio
 n and is the co-presenter of the chart topping Pod
 cast\, Legacy.</p>\n \n <p>&nbsp\;</p>\n \n <p>His
  Honour Judge Edward Connell</p>\n \n <p>His Honou
 r Judge Edward Connell was called to the Bar in 19
 96 and was appointed a Circuit Judge in 2019 and i
 s currently the Resident Judge at Croydon Crown Co
 urt. In his spare time Edward is a football refere
 e\, campaigns against discrimination in sport and 
 sits on London FA disciplinary tribunals. Edward h
 osts a podcast called “Coming Out the Pod” where h
 e interviews people about their coming out stories
  and co-hosts a referee podcast called “Red or Yel
 low”. Edward played a leading role in establishing
  the LGBTQ+ Judges Association and sits on the Nat
 ional Judicial Diversity Committee. Edward was awa
 rded an honorary Doctorate in Law for his contribu
 tion and dedication to equality and diversity in t
