 This lecture will discuss how artificial intellige
 nce is being used in the legal sector. It will rev
 iew various AI tools\, considering both the pros a
 nd cons of their application. The discussion will 
 explore the current regulations governing the use 
 of AI\, including professional obligations\, data 
 protection considerations and emerging regulatory 
 frameworks affecting legal practice. It will also 
 consider the ethical and practical challenges pose
 d by AI\, particularly in relation to accuracy\, c
 onfidentiality and accountability.</p>\n \n <p>The
  session will also feature a barrister’s perspecti
 ve provided by Matthew Lee. Mr Lee is a barrister 
 at Doughty Street Chambers\, where he specialises 
 in human rights\, equality law\, housing and prope
 rty law. He also focuses on AI-related legal issue
 s and maintains a popular blog\, <em>Natural &amp\
 ; Artificial Law</em>\, discussing the use of AI i
 n legal practice. He will discuss the practical re
 alities of using these tools in day-to-day legal w

 e lecture\, providing attendees with an opportunit
 y to discuss the issues raised and ask questions a
