Masters of the Bench

Stuart first commenced practice at No 1 Hare Court, where he remained for 27 years. In 1993, he moved to Hong Kong on appointment to the High Court Bench. He was appointed to the Court of Appeal in 1997 and later became Vice President of that Court. He retired from the post in 2009 and continues to sit in Hong Kong as a Deputy High Court Judge.
