Bio:

Gary studied history and law at Christ’s College, Cambridge (1988-1992). He practises from Selborne Chambers specialising in property litigation, professional negligence and general chancery law. Gary became a member of the Hall Committee in 2007 and was Chairman in 2012 and 2013. He is an advocacy trainer, an Inn representative on the Bar Council and also a member of the Inn’s Equality Diversity and Social Mobility Committee. Gary regularly lectures on property litigation and chancery subjects. In 2013 he was nominated for the Bar Pro Bono award. Outside the law he is a Vice President of a charity Pohwer which provides advocacy services in particular to those with disabilities, learning difficulties and mental health problems and was a founding trustee of the charity. His interests include opera, theatre, watching Arsenal, cricket and collecting historical autograph letters.  He is married with one daughter.
