Masters of the Bench

Rob was a medical student at Christ’s College, Cambridge before converting in his 3rd year to law and being called to the Bar in 1992. He undertook the full range of work at the Bar and did some teaching at Oxford until 1998 when he moved to Devereux Chambers and specialised in personal injury litigation. He undertook a MA in Medical Law and Ethics, part time, at King’s College, London and took silk in 2010.

Rob was Chair of PIBA, Personal Injuries Bar Association, from 2016 to 2018. He is an Editor of Kemp & Kemp, a practitioner’s textbook on personal injury damages. He enjoys hill walking, gardening and being outside when not working.
