Seared mackerel, beetroot and horseradish, lemon mash

Rolled belly of pork with apricot and rosemary stuffing

Pheasant and wild mushroom pie

Spelt, barley, squash and gorgonzola risotto (V)

Crème caramel bavarois, forest berry compote


Tuesday 16th January

Soups: Cider, onion and thyme or Pea and ham

Beef fillet steak, shallot rings, peppercorn sauce and gratin potato

Saddle of lamb stuffed with black pudding

Keralan fish curry, rice and naan

Winter vegetable frittata, roast tomato sauce (V)

Pear and star anise tart tatin, Poire Williams Chantilly


Wednesday 17th January

Soups: Potato and watercress or Oxtail with parsley dumplings

Roast cod with pancetta crumble and red wine lentils

Haunch of venison marinated in red wine

Lancashire hotpot

Mediterranean vegetable, halloumi and lentil bake (V)

Mulled winter fruits with gingerbread and cinnamon ice cream


Thursday 18th January

Soups: Celeriac and blue cheese or Prawn and red curry

Honey and soy glazed salmon, sticky coconut rice and tenderstem

Turkey breast stuffed with cranberries and pistachios

Sausage, bean and red wine casserole, creamy mash

Spiced vegetable puff pies (V)

Chocolate orange pudding with orange crisps


Friday 19th January

Soups: Minestrone or Red lentil and bacon

32 day aged topside of beef, Yorkshire pudding and horseradish

Crisp battered haddock, tartare sauce and mushy peas

Bubble and squeak, poached egg and hollandaise (V)

Jam roly-poly with custard
