Monday 25 September

Soups: Sweetcorn chowder or scotch broth

Middle Temple Gardens lavender and rosemary salt baked lamb leg

Roast fillet of hake, beetroot risotto, kale pesto

Toad in the hole, caramelised onion gravy

Bubble and squeak, poached egg and spinach (V)

Bramley apple and blackberry crumble, custard


Tuesday 26 September

Soups: Watercress or chicken and mushroom 

Corned beef silverside, horseradish dumplings, parsley sauce

Poached Cornish lemon sole, lobster and chive mousse, lemon and caper butter

Shepherd's pie, cheddar crust

Broccoli and stilton quiche (V)

Poached Yorkshire rhubarb, clotted cream


Wednesday 27 September

Soups: Cream of pumpkin or pea and ham

Pepper crusted loin of venison, red wine and thyme sauce

Grilled sea bream, orange and dill braised fennel, celeriac puree

Chicken and vegetable puff pie

Vegetable pasty  (V)

Raspberry jam roly-poly, vanilla custard


Thursday 28 September

Soups: Parsnip and rosemary or cock-a-leekie

Cider and apple roasted British free range pork shoulder

Steamed cod fillet, forest mushroom, potato galette, leek fondue

Steak and kidney pudding, beef gravy

Butternut squash, leek and artichoke crumble (V)

Treacle tart, blackberry, clotted cream


Friday 29 September

Soups: Celeriac and apple or oxtail and dumpling

Mustard and herb rubbed beef rump, horseradish and Yorkshire pudding

Beer battered cod, tartar sauce, lemon

Vegetarian nut loaf (V)

Queen of puddings
