My name is Richard Main and I am the MTSA Treasurer. I have been a member of the Inn since 2007 and I am currently studying the BVC at BPP in London.
Apart from building on the strong foundation of last years, and the previous year's committee I hope to bring my commercial experience to not just the committee as a whole but more importantly the funding in which the MTSA receives.
For example, and as long as I have the Inn's permission, I would like to source more funding from the wealth of corporate city organisations. The Inn has a fabulous location, 'awesome' members and we could market this to our benefit to attract sponsors for the MTSA. As a committee we might even approach financial institutions to either match, or invest in our Association funds in order to achieve more for our members.
And that's crucial to me. I am of the opinion that the more money we have the more we can do and the better the Inn will be for the MTSA - in doing so, keeping up the tradition of not just the best Inn, but more importantly the best and most active student Inn. |
