Dear Middle Temple Debators,

Due to unfortunate and unavoidable circumstances our previous Debating Officer Aileen McArleen felt complled to step down from her position as Debating Officer. Over the next few weeks, and in order to cover her portfolio, the other members of the MTSA Committee and I will be working to fill the space she leaves.

I would like to apologise to any of you that may feel that Debating may not have received its full share of MTSA focus over the previous term, a situation we are now working hard to resolve. As a result, we intend to re-vamp Debating, and have it once again as a centerpiece of the Middle Temple Students Association.

We have now placed a priority on Debating, and mobilised a sub-committee of new volunteers to work through the issues required to provide a series of workshops, due to begin shortly. Details of the workshops, and of the sub-committee will be published shortly.
