The Middle Temple collaborates with Hackney Community Law Centre to offer BPTC students invaluable legal work experience

The Middle Temple is delighted to announce a new collaboration with Hackney Community Law Centre (HCLC).

The opportunity will be a pilot 'Middle Temple Law Centre Fellowship'  and offers a talented Middle Temple student barrister the opportunity to gain invaluable legal work experience at HCLC.

The current BPTC student member of the Middle Temple will have the chance to apply their legal skills to real-life social welfare law cases in a law centre setting.

For this first pilot, the Fellow will work predominantly with HCLC's award-winning Senior Immigration Caseworker, Hilton von Herbert.

The Fellow will receive a grant from Middle Temple – paid at the rate of the London living wage (£9.40 an hour) – for the duration of the pilot Fellowship.

The pilot Fellowship will start in the week beginning Monday 8th February 2016 and end in the week beginning 1st August 2016.
