Barristers encouraged to expand international practice through Bar Council's business development mission to Brazil

The Bar Council’s International Committee is organising the third and, for the time being, final business development mission to Brazil, from 7 – 11 March.

Aims of the visit include raising the profile of the Bar within the Brazilian legal market and to promote the services barristers can offer Brazilian clients.

The programme will include meetings with local law firms, roundtable discussions with legal organisations and substantive law seminars and networking receptions for local lawyers in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply for a grant through the International Legal and Professional Development Grant Programme

The deadline has been extended to Wednesday 27 January 2016.
