The Middle Templar
The Inn's magazine, The Middle Templar, is published twice per year, usually in April and November. It contains information about the Inn, its members and events. It is distributed free of charge to all members for whom we have correct contact details. Regular features include a Foreword by Master Treasurer, profiles of new Benchers, articles from the Readers, information about guest lectures, reports from the Hall Committee and Middle Temple Students' Association, staff news, updates from the Library and Temple Church, and news of forthcoming events.
The Spring 2010 issue features the luncheon visit by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Treasurership of Queen Elizabeth, later Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. It also includes articles about the future of the referral Bar, the Scottish Bar, and the Employed Bar. The issue celebrates the Inn's links with the United States through its Honorary Benchers, provides details on the Inn's new Fellows, and includes humourous articles by long-serving members of staff. Finally, members are encouraged to become more involved in the Inn by participating in the events listed on page 31.
