Membership is open to all non-student members of the Inn up to those in their first three years of practice...
and is free!

MTYBA (pronounced “Ma-ti-bah”) was set up to further the interests of the junior members of the Inn, largely by organising social and educational events. It has three aims: to assist those who have been Called but who have yet to obtain pupillage; to encourage and inform members once they are doing pupillage; and to support fledgling barristers as they start out in the profession.

Recent events include:

• “Things you need to know before you start your Second Six”
• Preview of LexisNexis’ new PSL product, with free Green Book for every attendee.
• Talk for members in the limbo between BVC/BPTC and Pupillage, with representatives from the Law Commission, the Judicial Assistants Scheme, Baby Barristers and more.
• Christmas Drinks Reception

And we have many more lined up.
