Document Delivery Service
Document Delivery
To ensure that library services reach members who are not able to use them in person, or find it more convenient to access the library remotely, we offer a document delivery service. Please refer to the online library catalogue to identify the material you require (i.e. law reports, textbooks, journals, etc.).
Members, as well as non-members of the Inns of Court, may request that photocopies or scans of library material be made and sent to them by fax, e-mail or post. There will be a charge for this service. Requests must be made using the Copyright Declaration form, which can be found on the left-hand bar or via the links below. This form can either be printed and faxed, or printed, scanned and e-mailed, or filled in electronically using Adobe Reader and e-mailed back to us. The Library's address, fax number and e-mail address are provided on the form. During regular opening hours, staff will do their best to provide a turn-around time of two hours, depending on the size of the request, and the order in which it was received.
All copying requests must be made on the Copyright Declaration form and the form must be signed (electronic signatures are acceptable).
Please note that, because of their age and condition, some publications cannot be copied.
The document delivery service can be extended to non-members providing that they cannot find the requested material elsewhere.
Document delivery service request forms which may be filled in electronically and e-mailed back to us can be downloaded here; forms which may be printed to send by fax or by post can be downloaded here, and the schedule of charges is available here.
