Middle Temple Library is open to all members of the four Inns of Court. We accept enquiries in special circumstances from non-members and researchers (by appointment only), and reserve the right to charge non-members for access. Please use the contact details below for further information.
*Throughout October Middle Temple Library will be running one-hour legal research training sessions to help you find the information you need quickly (and painlessly) and search online legal resources effectively. Each session is limited to five participants. To reserve your place, please contact Suzanne Traue, the Training & Development Librarian by emailing email@example.com or telephone 020 7427 4830.
For further details, please vist our Facebook page or download the pdf document to the right.*
The Library holds approximately 250,000 volumes, covering all aspects of British, European and American law. We have an enquiry service staffed by specialist legal librarians, who are able to help with enquiries made in person, on the telephone, by fax or by email.
The full range of our collections can be accessed via our online catalogue.
For those who are unable to access the library in person, we offer a document delivery service.
We're on Facebook and Twitter. Please come and say hello by clicking on the respective logo.
The Library is spread over three main floors and has two floors of basement storage. Floor plans of the library layout (main three floors) can be downloaded here.
