Pupil Course November
Location: Middle Temple
Dates: Monday 2nd - Friday 13th November 2009
Duration: Two weeks (full time)
Course Description The Middle Temple provides a full-time courses for new pupils. The course offers advocacy training workshops designed to meet situations in which young barristers may find themselves. Lectures include topics ranging from general advocacy to advice on how to organise professional matters such as finance.
The workshops are led by experienced practitioners, and court visits provide an opportunity for exercises in both civil applications and criminal work before Judges.
Attendance at any of these courses satisfies the Bar Council's requirement with regard to compulsory advocacy training and practice management in pupillage.
Courses are open to all members of the Middle Temple. Pupils on Circuit may find it more convenient to attend the Circuit's course, but if they wish, we would be pleased to offer a place on the Middle Temple course.
